Matt Scoble, Political Director
Matt is a native Virginian and attorney with a passion for electoral reform. He has worked for several prominent non-profit organizations during his career focusing on voting rights, civic engagement, and redistricting reform.
In 2012, Matt led a successful effort to advocate for a majority-minority community in Salem, Massachusetts by organizing and holding voting rights training and election protection. In 2013, he was successful in helping elect the first female majority to the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors in the history of the county. More recently, Matt helped launch OneVirginia2021, a leading redistricting reform non-profit and in 2016 led election protection efforts in Pennsylvania.
Matt is a 2004 graduate of West Virginia University, a 2008 graduate of Marymount University and 2013 graduate of Suffolk University Law School. He is also an alum of The Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia and is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C.
