Matt Scoble: Bridging partisan divides is essential to Virginia’s future

Unite Virginia exists for the benefit of Commonwealth voters. In his latest op-ed for the Virginian-Pilot, Matt Scoble, Executive Director of Unite Virginia, calls for Virginians to act together to put voters first.
Even in these strange times, I don’t believe that attempting to bridge partisan divides is a fool’s errand. Last year’s redistricting ballot referendum shows us firsthand that bipartisanship and common ground still exist in Virginia, and should be celebrated. This is about the integrity of our representative democracy and serving the people of Virginia by putting voters first.
